Reef Divers at Little Cayman Beach Resort provides personalized valet dive services, ensuring a seamless diving experience for guests. They handle the maintenance of your dive equipment, including rinsing, drying, and storing it daily, ensuring it is always prepared for your next dive. Guests merely need to indicate their gear while enjoying their time on the boat. Additionally, the resort offers dedicated rinse tanks for photographic equipment and wetsuits, as well as a drying room for added convenience.

Diving in Little Cayman

All three Cayman Islands offer excellent diving, but Little Cayman features the stunning Bloody Bay Marine Park. Diving starts at 20 feet and reveals vertical ledges with diverse caves, corals, and sponges. The clear waters, usually calm, are perfect for divers of all levels and allow underwater photographers to explore a vibrant ecosystem filled with macro life. It is not uncommon to see larger marine creatures, including turtles, rays, and sharks, on the walls.

Essentially, Reef Divers takes all the hard work out of scuba diving, from the heavy lifting and care of your boat gear, to switching out tanks and safely storing your gear at the end of the day.

Yes, our reservations team can create a custom dive package for you and your dive buddy(ies). 

Reef Divers offers a morning 2-tank dive and an afternoon 1-tank dive. Night boat dives are also available 2 nights per week based on weather conditions and interest.

Reef Divers boats and dive shop are located at next door Little Cayman Beach Resort, a short 3-5 minute walk from The Club, or a quick bicycle ride. The dive shop has separate rinse tanks for photo equipment and wetsuits and general dive gear, plus a drying room with hanging space for wetsuits and mesh bags so you don’t have to lug them back to your villa.

Reef Divers requires divers to use a dive computer and follows the following profiles:

Dive 1 – 50 mins at 100′

Dive 2 – 60 mins at 60′

Dive 3 – 60 mins at 60′

Reef Divers stocks newer, well-maintained SCUBAPRO equipment available for rental. This includes regulators with gauges, BCDs, masks, fins, snorkels, and wetsuits. Dive computers are required and can be rented.

Reef Divers offers open-water certification as well as continuing education. Please contact Reef Divers for more information about courses.

Reef Divers operates custom-built 46′ Newton Boats. Four boats call Little Cayman their home port: Island Sister, Paradise Diver, Reef Fantasea, and Holiday Diver II. Each easily carries up to 20 divers and two crew members. All boats have restroom facilities, freshwater showers, towels, cold drinking water and a separate camera table.
